Uganda concludes the 14th SIOP Africa Congress

Uganda Cancer Society led other civil society partners to participate at the SIOP Africa Congress at the Kampala Serena Hotel from 16th – 18th March. Service decentralization, increased funding by national governments, embracing of emerging technologies and the need for personnel plans dominated discussions at the congress. A number of UCS members participated and showcased their work. These include; AFRON, Soleterre, Kawempe Home Care, Bless a Child Foundation and Uganda Child Cancer Foundation.
