On 15th February 2021, Uganda joined the rest of the world to commemorate the International Childhood Cancer Day. This day is vital in creating awareness about cancer in children and also for advocating for improved cancer services in the country. Even though the present circumstances of COVID – 19 means some anticipated changes to how we best engage this year, the enthusiasm for raising cancer awareness and pushing for action hasn’t been dampened.
