UCS and Uganda Counseling Association agree on professional counseling for cancer patients

UCS team had warm discussions with officials from the Uganda Counseling Association. Represented by Elizabeth Akello (middle) and Barbara Kalumba (2nd right) – the Association’s President and Vice President respectively, both teams shared notes on how to strengthen professional counseling for cancer patients in Uganda. It was noted and agreed that there is so much that still needs to be done. We call upon every stakeholder and philanthropists to come forth and support counseling and psychosocial support that we provide to cancer patients. Together, we can achieve better outcomes.
