ASP. John Muwonge is an accomplished professional with a strong background in public health, clinical medicine, and community health. With a passion for making a positive impact on healthcare services, John has dedicated his career to improving the health and well-being of communities. He currently serves as a valued member of Uganda Cancer Society (UCS) board.
John holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Public Health, which have equipped him with a deep understanding of public health principles and strategies. In addition, he holds a diploma in clinical medicine and community health, reflecting his hands-on experience in healthcare delivery.
Currently, John serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in charge of Bwebajja Health Centre, where he plays a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership for the facility. In this capacity, he is responsible for the planning and budgeting of the health center, ensuring efficient operations and the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. John also oversees police palliative care services, a testament to his commitment to holistic and compassionate patient care.
